I'm personally of the opinion that if you're considered old enough to have the reasoning to drive/be tried as an adult in a court of law/etc. then you should be able to vote, but then I'd also like to have people educated in civics starting much earlier.

Well, the "young" in some parties covers people up to age 40 which is just a little ridiculous imo.
