I think the thing that always irritates me with these sorts of issues is that if they’d really cared they’d have gotten on a cultural advisor for the episode.

I’m all for sharing cultural foods and fashion and history, just it’s never sharing, it’s always some asshole who wants to use stereotypes and lame jokes like that isn’t offensive as hell.

I’m disappointed in them. They’re better then this.

you would think that as diverse as their casting tends to be they'd already have one. sure, everyone on the show's a brit, but several of the participants during the show's running have had very obvious not-just-britain/uk backgrounds and they seem to manage that well enough, so it's very disappointing that they botched it like this.
