Okay, so, people need to remember to look at me when you’re talking. I’m not doing any call outs because that’s lame but it’s going to be months of healing before I can decide if I want to get my cochlear implants back or not. (Yeah, I’m not sure I want them or not yet)

It’s been kinda interesting tho. I got given them so young that I never had to deal with my deafness unless I wanted to before.

Hearing people can be pretty clueless sometimes. (It’s okay if you’ve tried to talk to me before I could see you, or forget and still do or I reserve the right to laugh at your dumb ass)

Closed Captioning doesn’t appear to be as much of a thing as It should be. So many stupid arguments by hearing people on TikTok about why they shouldn’t have to spend time captioning things.

It’s like we ask you folks for the bare minimum and you bitch like we just hit you with a hammer.

even with ADA laws and whatnot, getting people to accommodate your needs is like pulling teeth. Are you in college? I forget. If you are, you need to get with the disable students office NOW. I had to order my textbooks at least a semester in advance and there were some classes that I never had a textbook for
