Sometimes this place seems so unreal I can't stand it.

I know, right? I mean, we live in a mansion. A mansion! The guy who owns this place has more money than Trump and just decides he's going to open a school. I mean, why not? He must have been really, really bored. Or crazy. Crazy bored?

Good for us and all, but not your every day 5 year plan.

I haven't even really figured anything out yet. I mean, I'd love to dance but only the really good dancers ever make a good living off it.

See, turning the mansion into a school is something I can understand. What else would you do with a big house with lots of space? That's what Jo March did when her Aunt left her Plumfield, after all. * And you don't have to be bored or crazy, just really, REALLY into doing stuff for other people.

I want to join up when I get old enough, but Dad's all "do better than I did, have a choice, blah blah." So it's college for me until I can convince him I'm a military brat for life.


*What? I'm a Little Women fan. My mom used to read those books to me when I was little.

He puts up with us, I'm pretty sure crazy is a good adjective in this case, no other explanation for it really is there.

We're in high school, I don't even want to think about a 5 year plan, just planning things out to the end of this year is scary enough.

I guess. Admittedly right now my plans consist of going on a long hike and then heading off to Cheerleading Camp with Clea, so, you know, living for today and all.
