I am a fan of my small electric friend (it's basically a taser), BUT it hurts like hell and can cause damage if you hit yourself with it! I have first-hand experience with this, 0/10 would not suggest (10/10 would do again because the other option was strangulation). HOWEVER you can actually kill someone with the charge, so usefulness in your situation may vary.
Realistically any weapon can be used in a lethal manner, it's just easier for some than others. Doug's telescoping batons weren't too bad. Staff is an option, you can knock people on asses and hit them in the head. Heck, you could try a sap. Can break bones with those damn things, if you have enough room.
