So...Hi.

I'm Maya. Looks like I'm stuck here for awhile, and they told me I should introduce myself.

I'm deaf, by the way. So, you know, try to get my attention in ways other then just talking at me if you want me to actually interact with you.

I'm told I'm going to be in guest accommodation till we get the results of the gene test back, although I'm told the likelihood of me not being a mutant is pretty low.

No idea how long that takes so you should probably get used to me being around.

it takes a few days, gets all complicated.

we have the equipment here and the test itself isn't super difficult to set up once you're used to it, but it's time consuming and takes a while to process and analyze.

we're lucky we don't have to send out for the results. THAT is ridic.
